24 Hour Crisis/Response Hotline
CONTACT maintains a 24-hour crisis/response line (866.399.7273) for female
and male survivors of sexual violence, as well as their friends and
family. This service is free and confidential.
Trained male or female volunteers answer
this line and provide support. All volunteers undergo a rigorous
training/screening process before they begin answering hotline calls.
If you are a survivor of sexual violence,
friend or family member and you call our 24-hour crisis/response hotline we
can:
- Talk with your over the phone.
- Meet with you face to face.
- Provide emotional support.
- Accompany you to the hospital, law enforcement, or through the court
system.
- Provide specific information about laws.
- Provide support groups and individual
counseling.
- Help you find reading material.
- Answer questions about the healing process.
